Taskade is delighted to announce that it has succeeded in raising $5 million in series seed investment from Grishin Robotics and Y Combinator. The fund is expected to help them accelerate the development of their productivity workflow tool which quickly and efficiently offers assistance to remote teams all over the world.

Speaking on the company’s creation, the founders say they were inspired by the freedom and flexibility of working from anywhere, as well as the ability to hire and partner with great people without geographical restrictions.
“Despite our positive sentiments about working remotely, we were frustrated about having to hack together multiple tools to get things done. And so we created Taskade – a simple comprehensive tool for tackling all of those challenges.”
Taskade is a simple remote work tool that allows teams to manage projects, brainstorm, write product specs, and video chat together seamlessly, with everything syncing in real-time across all devices.
The startup revealed that it had spent the summer at Y Combinator learning as much as it could from the best minds in the startup ecosystem and discovering new ways to improve its solution and develop a smoother and more functional team management tool. It was during this process that Dmitry Grishin, founder of Grishin Robotics, took interest in their unique proposition and offered to join their team as it appeared that his vision aligned with theirs.

In addition to the $5 million funding generated, Dimitry Grishin will also serve as a member of the board of directors for Taskade. The seasoned business expert is expected to bring his experience in founding, building, and scaling Mail.ru, one of the largest sites on the Internet, to help Taskade achieve the lofty goals it has set out to accomplish.
